Emergency Food Program

Rio Vista is considered an emergency food provider. We provide families with a food box once a month. We also provide individuals living on the street food bags once a week. If you would like a food box or bag please be at the center Tuesday – Thursday at 9:00 AM or Sunday Mornings at 11:15 AM.

Of those receiving Emergency Food in Arizona:

41% are children and senior citizens.

42% of the households reported having someone in the household who was employed.

47% of the households had an income of 130% or below the Federal Poverty Guideline.

41% of the people within the past year had to choose between buying food and paying utilities.

Rio Vista Center is always accepting food and clothing donations.
