About Rio Vista Center

The Rio Vista Center is a non-profit, Christian organization that responds compassionately to the needs of the Valley’s less fortunate through a variety of programs in order to build a stronger, more stable community.

We operate through partnerships with organizations and individuals. We are located at 1431 E. Southern Ave. and we have been serving those in need for over 35 years.

We believe strongly in the words of Christ, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." In short, Rio Vista exists to serve the world around us.

Of those receiving Emergency Food in Arizona:

48% are children under age of 18.

49% of the households reported having someone in the household who was employed.

75% of the households had an income below the Federal Poverty Guideline.

50% of the people within the past year had to choose between buying food and paying utilities.

Rio Vista Center is always accepting food and clothing donations.
